One day, 650 hairdressers, three Global CØR.creators
and a stand full of foil.
One room. One global family.
On 18 October, O&M brought its international community together in Berlin for Global CØR.creator, the first event the brand has produced outside Australia. More than 650 hair professionals from over 15 countries filled the Kant-Garagenpalast, a 1930s car park in Charlottenburg turned event space, for a day built around live colour, honest conversation and a lot of catching up.
Jose Bryce Smith, O&M's founder, opened the day. She has spent almost twenty years proving that clean colour can perform, and she set the tone early: this was about bringing the global family into one room. The room also got a first look at the new PS Smoothing Masque and an improved CØR.restore.
Three creators. Three ways of seeing colour.
For the first time, O&M's three Global CØR.creators shared one stage. Jaye Edwards of EdwardsAndCo, Kim Haberley of Boho Blonde in Perth and Amelia Jane of Milly The Space on the Gold Coast each took a model through a live transformation, talking through the thinking as they went: placement, formulas, and how they keep hair healthy while doing all of it.
All three are part of the ALC ambassador family, which made watching them work in Berlin a proud moment for us.

Later in the day the three creators joined Jose on the panel and took questions from the floor: building a salon brand, teaching, social media, and the realities of running a business behind the chair. No scripts, just straight answers.

We were there with Sapo Beauty, our European distributor, with a stand full of pre-cut hair foil: Love Stinks and Smile Giggle Laugh from the Snoopy collection, and We Love Rainbows and Bearly Awake from Care Bears. By the end of the day we had sold out of everything. For a lot of European colourists it was the first time they had our foil in their hands, and for us it was the first time meeting many of the salons who have ordered since the European launch.
